From Adho Mukha Padma Vrikshasana (vertical stand on the palms with Lotus) (Photo 239). Exhaling without any delay, lower the Lotus toward the abdomen (Photo 240) and press the knees, folded in Lotus, against the armpits. Then lower the pelvis as low as possible (without touching the floor). At the same time, raise the head as high as possible and fully straighten the arms, thereby changing the position to Kukkutasana (standing on hands with Lotus under the armpits) (Photo 241). Standing in this position, with an inhalation, powerfully use the muscles of the shoulders and back to lift the knees off the arms, straighten the body to a vertical line (Photo 240) and raise Lotus to the initial vertical position, Adho Mukha Padma Vrikshasana (Photo 239).
