Yoga - tradition of univication
Having an extremely modern spirit and content, this book represents Yoga in its truly traditional understanding — as the Pathway to Unification. According to its definition yoga must cover all spheres of a human being — spiritual, psychic and physical. Unfortunately, some aspects of this Tradition have not been sufficiently spread throughout the world. In particular, an enormous layer of dynamic practices, of which popular manuals, at most, contain a single set of Surya Namaskar, fell out of Hatha Yoga.
On the basis of the teaching of all the world-known masters of Yoga: Khrishnamacharya, Pattabhi Joice and B.K.S. Iyengar as well as his own many years of practical experience of yoga, Andrew Lappa intends to describe all yoga Vinyasas (motion and breathing exercises) as well as a number of out-of-the-way Yoga practices — in particular, the mysterious Dance of Shiva. But the results appeared to be something far and away bigger, i. e., complete classification of all possible elements of physical, breathing and psychic yoga exercises and a universal algorithm for compiling individual training programs therefrom. Thus going beyond a simple «book about Yoga» this profound work will be useful to all practitioners of Yoga and martial arts.
